about
I loved writing this track and fine tuning the arrangement in the studio with the boys from the band. Great times and I must say I have never eaten so many cakes in a day as when I recorded this!
lyrics
[Verse]
Every time I turn around
I watch your mouth but there’s no sound
I’m sinking further to the ground
The light’s gone out but I know that I have found

[Chorus]
I shoulda known better than to show you the door
You make me light up and I never deserved you more
Keep on fighting even though I’m part of you
Shoulda known better
All I ever want is you

[Verse]
Remember days
Stealing kisses in the rain
Good times laughing as we went along our way
I need you more now
Each and every day
Let’s rewind hear me when I say

[Chorus]
I shoulda known better than to show you the door
You make me light up
And I never deserved you more
Keep on fighting even though I’m part of you
Shoulda known better
All I ever want is
I shoulda known better than to show you the door
You make me light up
And I never deserved you more
Keep on fighting even tho’ I’m part of you
Shoulda known better
All I ever want is you

[Chorus]
I shoulda known better than to show you the door
You make me light up and I never deserved you more
I Keep on fighting even though I’m part of you
I Shoulda known better all I want is you
Shoulda known better than to show you the door
You make me light up
And I never deserved you more
I Keep on fighting even though I’m part of you
I shoulda known better all I want is you
Shoulda known better than to show you the door
You make me light up and I never deserved you more
I Keep on fighting even though I’m part of you
Shoulda known better
All I ever want is
You
